Our Story – Leila Tailored
Leila Tailored began with a small dog and a big promise.
One day, a tiny chihuahua appeared on my back porch—dirty, malnourished, and clearly frightened of the world. Someone had left her there, and in that moment I knew I couldn’t turn her away. I named her Leila, and from that day forward I promised her she would never feel abandoned again.
Leila struggled with anxiety at first, but I noticed something that brought her comfort. She loved soft things—pillows, blankets, anything cozy where she could curl up and feel safe. Wanting to give her the comfort she deserved, I began making things just for her: little clothes, warm blankets, pillows, scarves, and other cozy pieces made with love.
What started as a way to care for Leila slowly turned into something bigger. I realized how special it felt to create beautiful, comfortable things for pets who bring so much love into our lives.
Leila Tailored is inspired by her journey—from a scared little dog left behind to a cherished companion who now lives surrounded by warmth and care. Every item I create is made with that same love and intention.
My goal is simple: to help other pets feel just as special, comfortable, and loved as Leila does.
She may have had a rough start, but for the rest of her life, she will have the very best—and this shop is part of that promise.
